Edo folding fan Jacues Averna

Edo fan with a motif of the Chinese zodiac painted by Paris-based Jacues Averna.

The animals stretched across the surface of the fan create a delightful and mysterious caricature of animals. As the fan is opened, the animals gradually emerge, as if they are alive and moving.

These fans are richly colored in a way that only a Frenchman could create.
