Sandalwood is also famous as a material for folding fans, and has a very nice fragrance when you blow on it. While the initial fragrance of ordinary fans gradually fades, sandalwood has a long-lasting fragrance.

It takes about 30 years before sandalwood can be used as wood, and mature trees are about 15 meters tall. Since it is very difficult to obtain, fans made of sandalwood are very precious.
