This is a caricature consisting of three large tales in which Kuniyoshi, a cat lover, replaced the inns appearing in the Fifty- three Stages of the Tokaido with jiguchi (puns) related to cats.
They were dyed as hand towels in cooperation with the publisher, Nihonbashi Ibasen.
